Universitas Indonesia has a policy on ethical sourcing of food and supplies through Rector’s regulation number 057 in 2017 regarding Implementation of HSE aspect on canteen UI In the second clause, Universitas Indonesia (UI) commits to implement HSE aspects in the entire food and supplies ecosystem, especially canteens. On the fourteenth clause, UI consistently demonstrates how food and beverage handling must comply with the hygiene, food safety, and food packaging requirements to be used. Furthermore, UI commits to supply foods that have registered from the Ministry of Health.
